1 – Roller Coaster Loop

Distance: 8.4KM
Climbing: 136 vm
Trail Rating: Moderate
Time: 45-60 mins
Route Sign Color: Dark Blue

The original Jacks Ridge loop with all the iconic features including the fast “Roller Coaster” and “Big Boris Log Roll”. It begins adjacent to the picnic table in the car park and is marked with #1 dark blue signage. The trail is predominantly easy to moderate, however the Roller Coasters section includes several steep and fast descents and steep climbs and can be intimidating for younger or less experienced riders. The Roller Coasters can be bypassed by exiting the trail onto Jacks Ridge Road and rejoining at the entry to The Pines. All the features have down ramps and can easily be rolled by all skill levels (with the exception of Boris, and there is a B line to bypass this).

You can take the short cut through “Dead Cow” to Teagues Loop and on to the Northern and Western Loops.
