The Northern Loop begins at the toilet end of the carpark, and duplicates the #5 Bili Bili loop for the first few kms. It emerges into its’ own near the top of Troll Wall at the signposted turn, where it enters the forested trail “Where the wild things grow”, over several timber ramps and bridges then up 20 switchback to the top Descents inevitably follow, down the Old Mates trail, and at the bottom the long timber boardwalk over the Frog Hollow swamp.

The loop then traverse the Growers Lane trail with its’ iconic chain bridge before entering a short two-way section and then ascending Northpipe to the carpark.

There are over 50 timber features dotted throughout the Northern loop. This is a more challenging trail than most in the network, but worth the effort!

Please give way to riders on the two-way section.
